Terminal 2 Parking Lot Relocated
The parking lot in front of Terminal 2 has closed for construction, and all spaces
have been relocated to a new, temporary lot located just west of the terminal. To
reach the new lot, follow the yellow parking signs on Harbor Drive and turn on McCain
Road, then turn right on Spruance. From there, passengers can choose to
take the pedestrian walkway (a 5-10-minute walk to Terminal 2) or ride the free
shuttle to the terminals.
There is still plenty of parking available at the airport! For a link to parking
lot locations on your smart phone, text ‘park’ to 45995, or
Passengers will soon
be able to enjoy a plethora of new dining and shopping options at the airport. Beginning
in late 2012, local favorites such as Saffron Thai, Phil’s BBQ, Pannikin Coffee &
Tea, Warwick’s of La Jolla, Stone Brewing Company and Jack in the Box
will be setting up shop at SDIA.
